New Family Picture

We don't spend much time sitting still and taking pictures so a family pic is rare.

These include the newest addition to our family.

Notice that the older members are not as photogenic as the younger ones!

Going toward the light

Little Evangeline had to go under the lights once we got home and is getting better.
Though frustrating and somewhat distressing to put your child under the lights, there are some cute moments.

Finally Home!

Mommy and baby came home yesterday. Baby Evangeline had a small case of jaundice and has to sleep in a "light" box. It isn't really a box but more of a tanning bed kind of device. So far she is doing well and will go to the doctor this morning. Big brother is happy to have both mommy and sis home, and so am I.

Day 3

Mom and baby stayed in the hospital for another fun day! Fortunately, this whole trip was almost over.

Day two

Well, Lana and baby made it throught the night and are both doing well. There were a number of visitors today and we are waiting to hear when she will be able to come home.

Meanwhile, enjoy pictures from this second day. Big brother really loves his little sister.

New Addition!

Yesterday, the Runnels family included the newest member, Evangeline. After what seemed like an extremely long pregnancy, she came into the world greeted with love and joy. She and her mom are doing extremely well and her big brother can't wait to bring her home.

Stats: 8 lbs, 1 oz.; approx. 19 in

She is bigger than her brother was when he was born, though she stayed in the warm confines of her liquidy home a few weeks longer. Additional posts will be made soon so keep checking back.
